Rising Up From The Ashes

When I bought my window fan last year, it came with a remote control. At the time I laughed, what the hell kind of lazy fuck can't get up and adjust the fan when it needs it - it isn't like a TV where you are constantly fiddling with things - set it up and let it blow.

Well, this morning, with my bedroom a balmy 48 degrees and cats snuggled in all around me for warmth, it finally came to me why one might want a remote control. My arm reluctantly revealed itself from under the covers and went fishing about in the nightstand drawer in a attempt to locate the aforementioned remote and hoping against hope that the batteries still worked. Even a heathen such as myself has been known to pray under such circumstances on a Sunday morn.

I am curious why someone would put on a long flowing skirt and then wear, over the top of it, a pair of panties, and not cute lacy ones with bows but big ol' cotton grandma panties.

I am tempted to go over and ask her but then again if she were to ask me why I am wearing my usual uniform of a t-shirt and jeans with the underthings inside, I have no better response than custom and convenience.

Perhaps it is better not to know.
