SPRING!
Today was a beautiful spring day. It was difficult to come into work after I finished with my Chem Lab this morning. I desperately wanted to go pull the bike out and go for a ride. Really I would have been happy doing anything outdoors. I was also tempted to head home just to putter in the gardens too… But I was good and went to work instead. Bleh! I did manage to take the long route though and at least managed to enjoy a nice leisurely drive with the windows down and the radio up.
As I sit here in my office I keep seeing tons of other people out enjoying the weather and notice all the motorcycles going by. I swear that they just keep going around the block repeatedly just to show off – like they know I am stuck in here lusting after their freedom!
It is going to be a tough couple of months since I really want to keep the bike in storage until after school gets out for the summer so that I continue to spend my free time on studying and not going for joyrides. I swear that one of these springs I am just going to pack up a pack and ride off into the sunset. The idea really appeals to me. I would miss all of my little furry people though…I often think that is the only reason I stay.
